Apply

2026 training class applications WILL BE OPEN JUNE 1-29!

The link to the application will be posted here soon!

Contact us if you would like to be notified via email before the next application season begins.

Considerations for the application

We receive more applications than we have seats, so our application review process is competitive. Each application will be reviewed by a committee of active chapter members of varying experience, interests, and membership duration. You will be notified of acceptance at least two weeks prior to the first class.

Our Mission

Our priority is to recruit members who align with our mission. We are seeking individuals of diverse backgrounds, interests and passions, and most importantly a commitment to environmental stewardship. Whether you are a professional in the field, a student, an accountant, or a bartender doesn’t matter to us—we seek volunteers committed to growing, learning, and engaging with our community about the environment around us. You can review our website or the state VMN website if you would like more information on our mission.
